About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, articulate Junior Sales Representative to join our growing team in the SaaS and managed cybersecurity space. This is an entry-level opportunity, ideal for a recent graduate who is eager to start a career in B2B sales within a high-growth technology environment.

You will play a key role in generating new business, managing inbound leads, and supporting the sales pipeline through structured outbound activity, qualification, and follow-up. You will work closely with senior sales and technical teams and gain exposure to enterprise-grade cybersecurity solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prospecting & Lead Generation (Outbound)

  • Conduct cold calls to potential clients to introduce managed cybersecurity solutions and qualify interest
  • Execute targeted email outreach with clear and compelling value propositions
  • Research potential clients, identify key decision-makers, and understand basic business and security needs

2. Inbound Lead Management

  • Promptly follow up on inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, website enquiries, and referrals
  • Qualify leads through structured calls and emails to identify needs, urgency, and fit
  • Manage and prioritise a high volume of inbound responses effectively

3. Client Engagement & Sales Support

  • Schedule introductory meetings and demos for senior sales or technical specialist
  • Maintain regular follow-up with prospects to build relationships and keep opportunities progressing
  • Ensure a smooth handover to senior team members for deeper technical or commercial discussions

4. Product Knowledge & Sales Enablement

  • Develop a working understanding of SaaS and managed cybersecurity offerings (e.g. threat detection, endpoint protection, managed security services)
  • Understand key value propositions, differentiators, and common client objections
  • Confidently communicate product benefits at an introductory level

5. Sales Administration & Team Collaboration

  • Accurately log all interactions, activities, and pipeline updates in the CRM system
  • Maintain high data accuracy to support reporting and forecasting
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and pre-sales teams to ensure a strong customer experience

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (BCom Information Systems / Infosec), Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

Experience

  • Internship or part-time experience in a customer-facing, sales, or technology-related role is advantageous

Skills

  • Strong verbal communication and professional phone presence
  • Clear, concise written communication for email outreach
  • Comfortable engaging with new people and initiating conversations

Technical

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong interest in technology and cybersecurity (training will be provided)
