iStore is the home of everything Apple and Africa’s largest Apple Premium Reseller. With more than 30 physical and online stores across Africa, we provide expert advice, Apple Authorised Repairs, business and education solutions, training, and technical support for anything and everything Apple.

We are looking for a Marketing Co-ordinator to support the marketing team in executing campaigns, coordinating marketing activities, and ensuring brand standards are consistently maintained across our retail environments.

This role will work closely with the Marketing Manager and key internal stakeholders to assist with campaign implementation, store marketing execution, and administrative support within the marketing function.

Role Purpose

The Marketing Co-ordinator supports the Marketing Manager in implementing marketing campaigns and initiatives across iStore South Africa and iStore Africa.

The role plays an important part in ensuring that all marketing activity aligns with Apple and iStore brand guidelines, while supporting store marketing execution, reporting, and operational coordination within the marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Campaign Support

  • Assist with the preparation and implementation of marketing campaigns aligned to business objectives

  • Coordinate media bookings (including OOH, TV and radio) and assist with agency briefs

  • Assist in compiling information for monthly and quarterly marketing reports

  • Act as a brand custodian to ensure all marketing communications and materials comply with Apple and iStore brand guidelines

Marketing Administration

  • Manage Syspro stock requisitions and purchase orders for marketing suppliers

  • Submit purchase orders and documentation to creditors for payment processing

  • Ensure supplier invoices are received and matched against purchase orders

  • Maintain accurate marketing reconciliation records and follow up on outstanding invoices

Store Marketing Support

  • Assist with preparation and implementation of marketing elements for new store openings and store upgrades

  • Support the setup of print and in-store marketing materials during store launches

  • Identify and report any missing or damaged graphics or fixtures during setup

  • Coordinate the request of demo units from supply chain in line with store planograms

  • Assist with the planning and execution of store opening events

Store Visits and Audits

  • Conduct store visits according to the agreed travel schedule

  • Review store compliance relating to marketing collateral, pricing, uniforms and planogram standards
  • Work with relevant teams to ensure merchandising plans are correctly implemented

Special Projects

  • Support the marketing team on special projects that contribute to business growth

  • Assist with project planning, coordination and implementation

  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners where required

  • Contribute to promotion development and campaign execution

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Relevant University degree (BCom or equivalent)

Experience

  • 1 – 3 years marketing experience

  • Exposure to retail, brand or trade marketing environments.
