We’re looking for a Mid-Level Business Analyst with a strong data mindset and hands-on exposure to modern data platforms, particularly Microsoft Fabric, to help bridge the gap between business needs and data-driven solutions.
What you’ll be doing:
→ Partner with business stakeholders to understand data, reporting, and analytics requirements
→ Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications for data solutions
→ Work closely with data engineers to design and optimise scalable data pipelines
→ Support the implementation and adoption of Microsoft Fabric across the business
→ Analyse and document data flows, data models, and system integrations
→ Drive improvements in data quality, governance, and accessibility
→ Assist in building and validating datasets for reporting, dashboards, and analytics use cases
→ Act as the link between business teams, BI developers, and data engineering teams
What you’ll need:
→ 3–5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, with strong exposure to data environments
→ Solid understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data modelling concepts
→ Hands-on or working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (or similar platforms like Azure Synapse, Data Factory, etc.)
→ Experience working with SQL and large datasets
→ Familiarity with data warehousing and lakehouse architectures
→ Strong documentation skills (BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows)
→ Ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively
→ Experience in retail, distribution, or supply chain environments
→ Exposure to Power BI or other data visualisation tools
→ Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks
→ Agile / Scrum experience
→ Data requirements are clearly defined, understood, and delivered against
→ Efficient, reliable data pipelines supporting business reporting and analytics
→ Improved data accessibility and trust across teams
→ Strong collaboration between business, BI, and data engineering functions
