This is not a typical graduate role.

We are looking for an exceptional graduate from one of South Africa’s top universities to work directly with the Group CEO of a large, fast-moving consumer technology business. 

This role is designed for a high-potential individual who wants to build a commercial, strategic career and gain rare exposure at Group Executive level.

You will work closely with the CEO on a day-to-day basis, shadowing key meetings, preparing executive-level materials, and supporting large local and international engagements with global partners and clients.

This role offers a front-row seat to how complex businesses are run, commercially, financially, and strategically.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support & Exposure

  • Shadow the Group CEO in executive, board, and senior leadership meetings
  • Prepare high-quality reports, briefing packs, and executive presentations for global clients.
  • Capture key decisions, actions, and outcomes from meetings and ensure follow-through

Commercial & Financial Analysis

  • Support financial and commercial analysis to inform executive decision-making
  • Assist with preparing summaries on performance, risks, opportunities, and strategic initiatives
  • Work with finance and business leaders to consolidate inputs into clear executive insights

Reporting & Tracking

  • Prepare executive-level reports for clients, the CEO and ExCo, including dashboards, summaries, and performance updates
  • Track key Group initiatives, priorities, and deliverables, providing regular status updates
  • Consolidate information across multiple business units into concise, decision-ready reporting
  • Ensure reporting is accurate, well-structured, and aligned to executive and board expectations

Who We’re Looking For

  • Completed BCom Degree (Finance would  be advantageous
  • Strong academic record from any of the following universities. 
    • University of Cape Town (UCT)
    • University of the Witwatersrand (Wits)
    • Stellenbosch University
    • University of Pretoria (UP)
    • University of Johannesburg (UJ)
    • University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN)
    • North-West University (NWU)

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with numbers and narrative
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills (non-negotiable)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Commercially curious, analytical, and confident engaging with senior executives
  • High levels of professionalism, discretion, and maturity
  • Able to work under pressure
